About the Event
Seeking Safety: Understanding the Journey is an event focusing on trauma informed care through the SAMHSA approved Seeking Safety curriculum.
This event will focus on the following objectives:
- Objectives:
- Define “stress.” What is stress?
- Discuss how it affects you physically, emotionally, mentally and at work.
- Determine your current level of stress.
- Identify ways to cope with stress, and
- We will help you create an individual “stress-buster” plan for you to use in your own life.

About Jackie St. Germain
Jackie S, MBA, LCSW
Jackie earned a Masters of Business Administration from The University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from The Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas, and a Masters of Social Work from The University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. She is the former Houston EAPA Vice President and was awarded the NAMI Community award-Brazos County Humanitarian Award in 2017. Jackie has held multiple leadership roles to include Chief Executive Officer- Rock Prairie Behavioral Health and Sun Behavioral Houston – Chief Operations Officer to name a few.
