Adolescents and Addiction: A virtual presentation focused on exploring addiction in young adults.
This event will focus on the following objectives:

Attendees will be able to identify the major types of substance use disorders in adolescents.

Attendees will be able to describe factors that may contribute to the incidence of substance use disorders.

Attendees will be able to list treatment options for an adolescent substance use disorder.

About Nikki Vejar
Nikki Vejar attended Indiana University Southeast with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. She continued her studies at the University of New Amsterdam with a focus on Conflict Resolution and Social Justice. Nikki is currently a Substance Use Clinican Counselor at BrightView Health in Louisville, KY.
